Day 1: Arusha Town
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport you will be met by a Sanctuary representative and transferred by private vehicle to your lodge located on the outskirts of Arusha. The remainder of your day is at leisure.
Arusha Coffee Lodge is located on a coffee plantation on the outskirts of Arusha. Designed around the original plantation houses but completely renovated to achieve the highest standards of comfort, the décor is luxuriant and stylish with undertones of the bygone days of early exploration. Each of the 18 plantation houses has been lavishly furnished and features a split level living area and a private deck. The lodge also boasts a coffee shop, patisserie, conference facilities and a swimming pool.

Day 2: Arusha Town - Tarangire National Park
Early this morning you will be met and transferred by private vehicle to Arusha airstrip for you onward flight to Tarangire National Park. Upon arrival you will be met by a Camp Representative and transferred to Swala camp in our customized open safari vehicle, driving time is approx 30 minutes with game viewing en route.
At Sanctuary Swala each of the twelve tents is shaded by tall acacia trees and ancient baobabs and is within sight of the well-frequented waterhole. In the afternoon there is time to relax before enjoying an exciting game drive by open four wheel drive vehicle. Huge herds of elephant, greater kudu, Impala and Zebra are all easily spotted whilst leopard lurk in the trees. Due to the camps secluded location you are unlikely to see many vehicles as you venture out into the national park. As the sun fades enjoy a sundowner as you watch the game carry on with their daily activities. Return to camp to freshen up before dinner.

Day 3: Tarangire National Park
This morning awake to the sounds of the bush as a steaming hot cup of tea or coffee is served on your tents deck.
The rest of the morning is at leisure to enjoy the activities on offer. Return to your camp where your hosts will greet you with a refreshing drink and a well deserved lunch.
In the afternoon you have time to take a refreshing swim in the pool or relax on your private deck with a cool drink and gaze out to the waterhole and watch as the game lazily congregates in the shade to escape the mid day sun.
As the afternoon progresses you may like to return to the Tarangire on an afternoon game drive. Return to your lodge to freshen up before meeting around the camp fire for a pre dinner drink as you discuss the day's adventures.

Day 4: Tarangire National Park - Lake Manyara National Park
Leave camp early this morning to transfer to the airstrip for your light aircraft flight to Manyara. Upon arrival at Manyara Airstrip, you will be met and transferred to Sanctuary Escarpment Luxury Lodge. Transfer time to the lodge is 15 minutes by road. Arrive in time for lunch followed by a leisurely afternoon.
The Sanctuary Escarpment Luxury Lodge is located in Lake Manyara National Park in Northern Tanzania; and is nestled into the edge of the escarpment which towers over Lake Manyara - offering a magnificent view of the lake. The lodge offers activities including walking safaris in Lake Manyara National park, as well as game drives in the Park and also in the Ngorongoro Crater. You could also visit the nearby village of Mto WA Mbu to experience indigenous life, with cultural activities. You could choose to relax by the swimming pool with views of Lake Manyara; and enjoy afternoon tea before adjourning for dinner.

Day 5: Lake Manyara National Park – Ngorongoro Crater
Leave the lodge this morning after breakfast and enjoy a game drive in Lake Manyara National Park or in the Ngorongoro Crater.
Lake Manyara National Park is located within a long, narrow corridor formed by the looming cliffs of the Great Rift Valley escarpment and the shores of Lake Manyara. The Park offers enormous topographical variety and abundant wildlife and stands in indigenous bush frequented by species such as buffalo, dik dik and baboon.
Enjoy a game drive deep into the Ngorongoro Crater, to enjoying game viewing with the spectacular backdrop of the crater wall. Home to around 30,000 animals, the Crater has a high concentration of predators including tree-climbing lions, jackals and the elusive leopard. Enjoy a meal in the bush during your game drive, or a sundowner on the wraparound deck of the lodge - offering incredible views of Lake Manyara. Enjoy dinner indoors or on the deck outside.

Day 6: Lake Manyara National Park – Serengeti National Park
This morning transfer back to Manyara airstrip for your onward flight to the Serengeti, flying time is approx 1 hour. Upon arrival you will be met by a Kusini representative and transferred to camp. Arrive at your camp with time to freshen up before lunch is served.
This afternoon discover why the Serengeti is an icon of Africa on an afternoon game drive. The open plains spread out as far as the eye can see so it's no surprise that the name Serengeti comes from the Maasai language meaning, "endless plains". The park itself covers 14,763 sq. kilometers, making it one of the world's largest wildlife sanctuaries and hosts one of the world's largest land migrations. Every year 1.5 million wildebeest migrate from the Serengeti to the Masai Mara followed by hundreds of thousands of zebra, gazelle and other plains game in search of fresh grazing pastures.

Day 7: Serengeti National Park
Today you may choose to either partake in a full day game drive into the heart of the Serengeti with a picnic lunch or remain close to camp with morning and afternoon game drives.
This evening return to camp and climb to the top of the Kopje for stunning 360 degree views of the Serengeti. Relax with your preferred drink as you watch the setting sun paint the Serengeti with pinks, oranges and reds. Settle in at the dining tent for a deliciously prepared meal before retiring to your tent after an eventful day of game viewing.

Day 8: Serengeti National Park – Arusha Town
Enjoy a leisurely morning relaxing at camp or venture out early on a morning game drive before transferring to the airstrip for your light aircraft flight to Kilimanjaro via Arusha departing at 10am. Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro connect with your onward flight.
