Day 1 – 2: Dar Es Salaam City
Upon arrival you will be met by our local representative and transferred to the Southern Sun Hotel Dar Es Salaam City. This hotel is within walking distance of the beach of the Indian Ocean and the center of Dar Es Salaam. Southern Sun Hotel is ideal if you are passing through.

Day 2 – 5: Ruaha National Game Reserve
In the morning you fly to Ruaha National Game Reserve. In the nearby Mwagusi Safari Camp you will stay for the next three nights.
Mwagusi Safari Camp is small camp is hidden in the bush on the sandy banks of the river Mwagusi in the northeast of the Ruaha National Game Reserve. The location of the camp makes it a unique bush experience: In the shadow of palm trees and fig trees and surrounded by rocky formations nothing seems to be going in the nature camp. You take private safaris in jeeps but also on foot. Ruaha is known for its large number of buffaloes and wild dogs. Also the rare sable antelope and Roan antelope- can be seen here.

Day 5 – 9: Selous National Game Reserve
In the morning you fly to the Selous Game Reserve.
The Selous Game Reserve is one of the largest game reserves in the world. The landscape is very diverse with volcanic hot springs, lakes, savannahs, forests and large rocks. Selous is named after the famous elephant hunter Frederick Courtney Selous. The Selous Game Reserve is plenty of wildlife to admire; more than 440 different species. An experienced ranger will take you into the bush for a private guided walking safari or to the Rufiji river for a boat cruise so you can view nature and the animals once, a very different Experience. You will stay at the Sand River Lodge.
Sand River Lodge is a luxury lodge with 8 suites, five of them with views over the river and 3 overlooking the hills. The suites are very comfortable and it prides itself on being the best showers in Tanzania have.

Day 9 – 13: Pemba Island
After the morning game drive and breakfast, you can fly directly from Selous to Pemba Island.
Pemba Island is one of the most pristine islands in the Indian Ocean Coast. On the southwest coast of the Island is Fundu Lagoon adjacent to a long white sandy beach. Fundu Lagoon is only accessible by boat. The atmosphere and service at Fundu Lagoon is excellent and personal; you will feel right at home here. Fundu Lagoon has only 18 rooms bordering a large veranda which offers an incredible view of the sea.
The coral reefs around Pemba Island are some of the most beautiful in the world and you can snorkel or diving experience life underwater. Probably you will see a sea turtle or a group of dolphins. Enjoy a traditional dhow sunset followed by a fantastic dinner. Dine in the restaurant, but also by the pool or opt for a private dinner on the beach.
